Vyacheslav Suhanov visited Varta conference in Austria
Varta conference took place in Salzburg, Austria, on February 4–5, 2020. The conference was organized as a meeting with distributors from over 90 countries, including Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia, Cyprus and many others. Vyacheslav Suhanov, the founder of OBK Group Holding, and Andrei Khodin, Varta brand manager in the Republic of Belarus, attended this meeting.
The annual conference program was very eventful and dynamic. The major part of it was devoted to the end-of-2019 year review. The year’s results pleased all those present, i.e. all distributors showed a noticeable increase in sales. Varta representatives announced the construction of a new plant near Ulm, Germany. The plant will allow to increase production capacity to over 150 million cells per year. The project is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
According to Varta, the future lies with lithium-ion cells. Therefore, the company's investments will be concentrated in two production locations in Germany, including a new plant in Nördlingen. However, this is not the only focus of Varta for 2020. Power-saving boxes that can become an auxiliary power source, sport lighting and street lights, new types of cells and much more are currently under development.
During the conference, Vyacheslav Suhanov held several meetings with colleagues from the CIS countries, discussed the sales strategy, market features and much more. Varta's innovative developments are kept up to date, as does the development of market relations in the rapidly changing modern world. That’s why it is important to maintain a stable and fruitful cooperation with business partners.
